HOW IS BARDEN DEVELOPMENT LTD DIFFERENT FROM ITS COMPETITORS?
We are set up with the ambition of providing a high quality facility ("Barden House") for the people of Murieston and West Lothian. We are attracting businesses with wellness and hospitality themes, appropriate to the neighbouring health centre.
WHY DO BUSINESSES WANT TO LOCATE AT BARDEN HOUSE?
South Livingston and Murieston is well known for its prosperous and health conscious demographic. In its Local Development Plan, the area is targeted for housing development with plans for up to 4,000 new homes. Being at the centre of this, with ample parking and modern facilities is very compelling. Also the Health Centre and Station are nearby.
WHEN DID BARDEN HOUSE OPEN, AND IS IT ENVIRONMENTAL?
Construction was between June 2018 and July 2019, with all units let by the end of the lock downs. Our design incorporates great environmental standards with a high degree of insulation and air source heat pumps.
WHY THE NAME BARDEN DEVELOPMENT LTD?
Barden is an amalgam of Barbara Russell-Smith (1931-2016) and Denham Russell-Smith (1921-2015) and a celebration of the almost 60 years that they were married.
